Sports Psychology Workshop - Effective Goal Setting and (season) Planning

We are delighted to share that Dr Beatrice Schaer will be joining us at 2020 Archery this autumn to deliver a short series of psychology workshops designed specifically for athletes.


Beatrice is a Mental Performance Consultant (CMPCc) and Sport & Exercise Psychologist i.T. She works with elite, age‑group and amateur athletes across a wide range of sports, including long‑distance running, triathlon, volleyball, strength sports and archery. Her background spans multiple roles within sport - Sports Chiropractic, Strength & Conditioning Coaching - and she has personally competed in hockey, duathlons and powerlifting since her teenage years. Her consulting approach is person‑centred, with a focus on optimising performance while supporting each athlete’s mental wellbeing.


This autumn’s workshop series includes:

  • Effective Goal Setting and (Season) Planning – 19 September
  • Making Successful Technical / Form Changes – 24 October
  • Creating Successful Performance and Competition Routines – 21 November
All workshops will take place in the Roof Pitch at the Downside Settlement (SE1 2EZ) on Saturday mornings from 11:30am to 1:00pm. Further details for Workshops 2 and 3 will be shared soon. In the meantime, information for Workshop 1 can be found below:
