We have a thriving indoor archery club near Caledonian Rd in Islington where our novices can graduate to shooting any style of bow (we allow recurve, compound and longbow). Members shoot all 18m / 20 yard indoor rounds (we supply all types of target faces, Vegas, Portsmouth – we even have a few darts knocking around!) and we have regular social events.

Aisha’s Monday club has been designated the ‘Pub, Portsmouth and Pizza’ night, if you fancy a social! Weekends tend to be quieter than week nights although we encourage people to always send a text to book a target to be sure of a place on the line. In August we held a lovely Sunday BBQ following a vegetable / animal fun shoot and we had a great Christmas party where we had a training bow shoot-off followed by shooting at Christmas puddings and chocolate oranges!

Our brilliant records officer Chris organises a handicap shoot at 2.30pm on the last Sunday of every month – we have a lucky dip of prizes including 3 free shooting sessions or a month’s free shooting. We’re quite keen on handicap shoots as it means that we have a level playing field where novice archers can compete equally against the club record-holders  – you just have to shoot well compared to usual form on the day.

Club membership costs £25 for a year (you can also affiliate to GNAS through 2020) and there is a shooting fee to be paid each session, or we have various pre-pay packages available making it a bit cheaper. Concessions are available to low / unwaged and undergraduate students. We are also happy to welcome new members.
