Christmas Party pics

Had a damn good showing with 16 people shooting and some rather splendid performances being put in on the training bow challenge with, I think, 5 people getting more than 400 with 18lb bows. Honourable mentions to Aisha, Ladi, Ron and Sam.

Mark Lowman put in a frankly disgusting score of somewhere up near his pb. Wrong. Chris B and I were further handicapped by using 16lb bows (even pingier than the 18lb ones) although there’s no accounting for the 250+ more points I scored than Chris (who barely scraped triple figures)! This was even given the clearance issues of shooting while wearing a fake fur coat (you probably don’t want to do this in a competition).

For some reason Ash didn’t manage to get any pics of the xmas pottage – probably because he was so intent on trying to bag himself a chocolate orange. Aisha managed to hit a ferrero rocher (at 20 yards with a training bow) which just goes to show what you can achieve when you REALLY want to win something.

Next handicap shoot will be last Sunday of the month – hope to see lots of you back for that.
